Vehicle Recall: Toyota Tacoma Pickup Trucks

Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls an estimated 21,035 model year 2022 and 2023 Toyota Tacoma Pickup Trucks marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On certain Toyota trucks, the Axle Housing(s) may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the Axle Retaining Nuts could loosen and detach. If this happens, the Axle Shaft(s) could separate from the Axle Housing(s). This could cause reduced in-use braking and/or reduced vehicle stability.
