Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls an estimated 8,241 model year 2020 to 2024 Ford Lincoln Aviator Sport Utility Vehicles (“SUVs”) marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.
On certain Ford Lincoln vehicles, a cell phone signal could interfere with the Accessory Protocol Image Module (“APIM”) and cause the Rearview Camera image to flicker. As a result, the rearview image will not appear on the Display Screen when reversing. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the vehicle is reversing.
