Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls an estimated 18,235 model year 2018 and 2019 Volkswagen Atlas Sport Utility Vehicles (“SUVs”) marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On the affected Volkswagen SUVs, the Passenger Occupant Detection System (“PODS”) may malfunction.
