Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls an estimated 20,664 model year 2021, 2022 and 2023 Ford F-150 Pickup Trucks marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.
On certain Ford Pickup trucks, the Rear Axle Hub Bolt(s) could break and cause the Axle Shaft(s) Splines to wear. If this defect happens, there could be an in-use loss of power to the Wheels. Additionally, if the Pickup truck is parked and the Parking Brake isn’t applied, the truck could roll away.
Please note: this recall only affects Ford trucks equipped with the Trailer Tow Max Duty optional package at this time.
