UK/London: Mrs Kirkham’s Lancashire Cheese Ltd., a Goosnargh, Lancashire establishment, expands its existing recall for certain batch/lots of Mrs Kirkham’s branded Lancashire Cheese products from the British marketplace to include additional Cheese products.
The original recall was initiated due to suspected Escherichia coli (“E.coli”), specifically, Shiga Toxin-producing E. Coli (“STEC”) contamination and consequential risks of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
