Canada FlagCanada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety safety authority, recalls certain 2023 Honda Civic Sedans marketed, sold and delivered in Canada due to reported failure in the recalled Honda vehicles’ Auto-Brake Hold Mode Assembly. If this defect occurs, it may create problems with the Vehicle Stability Assist (“VSA”) Modulator and may cause the vehicle to move unexpectedly.

If this defect occurs, the Cowl Area below the Windshield may not be sealed correctly.

As a consequence, nearby wiring could short circuit and overheat, and various electrical systems may not work properly. A short circuit can also create the risk of a fire. In addition, electrical systems that don’t work properly could increase the risk of injury and/or a crash.
