Canada/Ottawa: T & E Import and GPAE Trading Corp., both Toronto, Ontario establishments, recall certain batch/lots of 3D Alphaland, 5 Hour, Celsius, GFuel, Prime and Sting branded Caffeinated Energy Drinks from the Canadian marketplace due to failure to properly comply the Caffeine content and labelling requirements leading to possible ingestion of excess Caffeine levels with consequential risks sf anxiety, sleeplessness, agitation, palpitations, diarrhea and restlessness.
In some people, Caffeine can worsen Clinical Psychosis and result in the need for higher amounts of appropriate medication. In addition, Caffeine can reduce how well some anti-psychotic medications work.
In severe cases, high levels of Caffeine can cause kidney failure, blood in the stools or urine, coma, confusion and/or Necrotizing Enterocolitis, all serious and potential fatal situations, requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
