US/Silver Spring: Wilcox Ice Cream, an East Arlington, Vermont establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Wilcox branded Ice Cream, Yogurt and Ice Cream Bars, as well as Leonardo’s branded Gelato products from the American marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential risks of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
