Canada/Ottawa: IKEA Canada Ltd Partnership, a Burlington, Ontario establishment and a subsidiary of IKEA of Sweden AB, recalls an estimated 127,857 IKEA branded TRIPPEVALS and HOPPVALS Cellular Window Blinds from the Canadian marketplace due to failure to meet Canada’s Corded Window Coverings Regulations with consequential risks of choking, oral injury, internal ingestion, GI tract laceration damage, bowel obstruction and/or sepsis, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
