Vehicle Recall: Chevrolet Bolt EVs & EUVs

Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls an estimated 9,023 model year 2020 to 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EVs and 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUVs marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On certain Chevrolet EVs, the High-voltage Battery could overheat when it is charged to over 90% of its capacity. As a result, the Battery could create smoke or heat, which, in turn, can melt or damage the Battery and nearby components.
