US/Washington & Canada/Ottawa: Pier 1 Imports, a Fort Worth, Texas establishment recalls an estimated total 6,300 of Pier 1 branded Desk Chairs (approximately 6,000 in the US and approximately 300 in Canada) from the American and Canadian marketplaces, respectively due to suspected component breakage and consequential risk of falls, bone fracture, concussion and laceration injuries, all serious health and safety hazards.
