Vehicle Recall: Ford Fusion Sedans

Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls an estimated 3,198 model year 2020 and 2021 Ford Fusion Sedans marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On certain Ford Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (“PHEV”), the High-voltage Battery Energy Control Module can become damaged. If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the Wheels or the Control Module could overheat.
