Vehicle Recall: Ford F-150 Pickup Trucks

Canada FlagCanada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls an estimated 20,664 model year 2021-2023 Ford F-150 Pickup Trucks marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On the affected Ford F-150 vehicles, the vehicle’s Rear Axle Hub Bolt(s) could break and cause the Axle Shaft(s) Splines to wear. If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the Wheels. Additionally, if the Pickup Trucks is parked and the Parking Brake isn’t applied, the Trucks could roll away.

Please note: at this time, this recall affects only Ford F-150 vehicles equipped with the company’s Trailer Tow Max Duty Option Package.

Vehicle Recall: Ford F-150 Lightning EV Pickup Trucks

Canada FlagCanada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls an estimated 1,408 model year 2022-2023 Ford F-150 Lightning Electric Pickup Trucks marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On the affected Ford F-150 vehicles, a software problem could cause the Electronic Stability Control (“ESC”) system not to return back to the default setting when the vehicle is started.

Canadian regulations require the Stability Control System to start in the default setting each time that the driver starts the vehicle.

Vehicle Recall: Ford Bronco & Explorer SUVs; F-150 Pickups

Canada FlagCanada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls certain model year 2023 Ford Bronco Sport Utility Vehicles (“SUVs”), Ford Explorer SUVs and Ford F-150 Pickup-up Trucks marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On the affected Ford vehicles equipped with an Automatic Transmission, there could be a loose Bolt inside the Transmission. As a consequence, the Bolt could move and block the Parking Pawl.
