US/Washington: Don Miguel Foods, a Dallas, Texas establishment, recalls an estimated 10,642 pounds of frozen ready-to-eat (“RTE”) Carne Asada Burrito products from the American marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential risks of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
