Vehicle Recall: Bentley Bentayga Sedans

Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety safety authority, recalls certain 2022 Bentley Bentayga Sedans marketed, sold and delivered in Canada due to reports that the Second-Row Seats on certain Bentley vehicles may not be installed correctly on the Seat Rails. As a result, the Seats may not lock in place and could move in the event of a crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact event with consequential serious injury and/or life-changing results.

Please note: this is an expansion of Transport Canada recall 2022-135.

==> No VINs, item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat lacerations, concussions, bone fractures, amputation, central nervous system (“CNS”) damage and/or internal injuries.

Proposed Remedy:
Bentley will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and ensure that the Second-Row Seats are installed correctly. To reduce the safety risk, Bentley recommends that you should not use the Second-Row Seats until the recall inspection has been completed and the car certified for safe use.
