Drug Recall: Brew York Carbonated Alcoholic Juice Forsyth

UK/London: Brew York, a Walmgate, York establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Carbonated Alcoholic Juice Forsyth products from the British marketplace due to suspected over carbonation and consequential risks of can explosion, eye damage, laceration and bone fracture, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Carbonated Alcoholic Juice products are subject to recall:

• Brew York Juice Forsyth, sold in 440 ml cans with a batch/lot code designation of Gyle 1036 and a best-before date code of 23 July 2024

==> No barcodes, EANs, item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the UK FSA, Brew York has recalled certain batch/lots of Juice Forsyth from the British marketplace due to suspected over carbonation and Carbonated Alcoholic Juice products. As a direct result of this suspected defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Carbonated Alcoholic Juice products identified above.

Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Brew York Juice Forsyth Carbonated Alcoholic Juice products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, contact Brew York at store@brewyork.co.uk for a refund and replacement.
