US/Washington: Compare Brands LLC, a Fort Wayne, Indiana establishment, recalls an estimated 2,420 Adios! Super Vinegar All Natural Cleaner, 30% sold at Amazon from the American marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and failure to comply with the US Federal Hazardous Substances Act with consequential risks of choking, burns, oral injury, internal ingestion, GI tract laceration damage, bowel obstruction/perforation and/or sepsis, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves Adios! Super Vinegar All Natural Cleaner, 30% marketed, sold and delivered by Amazon.com in the United States, as follows:

• Adios! Super Vinegar All Natural Cleaner, 30%, sold in 16-ounce white bottles with a blue cap and labeled on the front as “ADIOS! SUPER VINEGAR ALL NATURAL CLEANER. 30% Concentrate Indoor & Outdoor use” with a back label stating, “Say ADIOS to industrial cleaners with the natural power of vinegar” along with safety information and instructions.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled products can be found on the Web site listed above.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, Compare Brands LLC has recalled an estimated 2,420 Adios! Super Vinegar All Natural Cleaner, 30% sold at Amazon from the American marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and failure to comply with the US Federal Hazardous Substances Act. As a consequence, the product may pose risks to the health and safety of people who utilize the product in a reasonable manner expected with its intended design and anticipated use.

In this case, this recall was initiated after it was reported that the recalled cleaning product violates the US Federal Hazardous Substances Act because it is deceptively labeled as “Safe to Use” and lacks the required cautionary statements for a poison, posing a risk of poisoning and chemical burns to those who use it anf those nearby.

Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Adios! Super Vinegar All Natural Cleaner products, please do not use them. Instead, kindly contact Compare Brands for information on how to obtain a free corrected label to put on the Cleaner bottle. Compare Brands and Amazon are contacting all known purchasers directly..
