US/Washington & Canada/Ottawa: Medline Industries, a Northfield, Illinois establishment and Medline Canada Corporation, a Mississauga, Ontario establishment, recalls for an estimated 1.5 million Assist Bar Adult Portable Bed Rails from the American marketplace due to risks of entrapment, asphyxiation, respiratory collapse, cardiac system collapse and death, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury and/or death.

Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls an estimated 6,707 model year 2023 and 2024 Toyota Prius and Toyota Prius Prime EV Sedans marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On certain Toyota vehicles, water could leak into the Rear Door Handle(s) and could cause the Door Opener Switch(es) to short circuit. If this happens, the Rear Door(s) could open unexpectedly while driving.

Australia/Canberra: Romper & Co., a Melbourne, Victoria establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Romper & Co Rattles, Teethers and Wooden Shaker Toys from the Australian marketplace due to suspected failure to comply with the requirements of Australia’s mandatory standard ‘Consumer Protection Notice No. 14 of 2003 – Consumer Product Safety Standard: Toys for Children up to and including 36 months of age’ and consequential risks of choking, oral injury, ingestion, GI tract laceration damage and bowel obstruction, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-changing injury.
