US/Bethesda & Canada/Ottawa: Textron Specialized Vehicles, an Augusta, Georgia establishment recalls an estimated total 11,300 of Textron branded Prowler Pro and Tracker 800SX Utility Vehicles (“UTVs”) (approximately 10,300 in the US and approximately 1,000 in Canada) from the American and Canadian marketplaces due to fit reported failure of the vehicle’s Fuel Tank Cap and consequential risks of burns, explosion, smoke inhalation, respiratory failure and/or cardiac system collapse, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
