Vehicle Recall: Nissan Infiniti QX60 SUVs

Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls an estimated 2,414 model year 2022 to 2024 Infiniti QX60 Sport Utility Vehicles (“SUVs”) marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

In certain situations, a Software problem in the Adaptive Front-Light System (“AFS”) of the affected Infiniti vehicles can cause the Headlamps to become incorrectly aimed while driving.

If this defect occurs, Headlamps that aren’t properly aimed could cause reduced visibility and increase the risk of a crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact event with consequential serious injury and/or life-changing results.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat lacerations, concussions, bone fractures, amputation, central nervous system (“CNS”) damage and/or internal injuries.

==> No VINs, item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Proposed Remedy:
Nissan will notify affected Infiniti QX60 SUVs owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to an Authorized Dealership to reprogram the Intelligent Power Distribution Module.
