US/Washington: Fairmont Foods, Inc., a Fairmont, Minnesota establishment, recalls an estimated 147,132 pounds of Kidfresh Spaghetti Loops with Meat Sauce Meals from the American marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Egg, a known allergen, sources of dietary intolerance and possible triggers of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

Additional information:
The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Frozen Not Ready-To-Eat Spaghetti Loops with Meat Sauce Entrée products were produced on various dates from December 2022 through August 2023 and are subject to this recall:

• Kidfresh Spaghetti Loops Meat Sauce, sold in 7.25-ounce tray-in-box packages with a batch/lot code of FF120722, FF011823, FF021623, FF032323, FF042623, FF071923 or FF081023 and a best-if-used-by date ranging from April 2024 to December 2024

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

These Frozen Not Ready-To-Eat Spaghetti Loops with Meat Sauce Entrée products were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in the US states of Georgia, Indiana and Texas, although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution within the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

According to the USDA, Fairmont Foods has recalled an estimated 147,132 pounds of Kidfresh Spaghetti Loops with Meat Sauce Meals from the American marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Egg. As a direct result of this suspected defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Spaghetti Meals identified above.

Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Kidfresh Spaghetti Loops with Meat Sauce Meal products and could be allergic to their Egg ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the distributor or wholesaler where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat Anaphylaxis.
