Food Recall: Candy Dynamic Toxic Waste Slime Lickers

UK/London: Candy Dynamics Inc., an Indianapolis, Indiana establishment, recalls all current batch/lots of Toxic Waste Slime Licker Candies from the British marketplace due to suspected component detachment and consequential risks of choking, oral injury, internal ingestion, GI tract laceration damage, bowel obstruction/perforation and/or sepsis, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death. One (1) death is known to have occurred in the United States from a similar confectionery design.

The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Confectionery products are subject to recall:

• Toxic Waste Slime Licker Sour Rolling Liquid Candy – Blue Razz flavour, sold in 2-ounce canisters with an EAN of 898940001016 or 060631918297
• Toxic Waste Slime Licker Sour Rolling Liquid Candy – Strawberry flavour, sold in 2-ounce canisters with an EAN of 898940001016 or 060631918297
• Toxic Waste MEGA Slime Licker Sour Rolling Liquid Candy – Blue Razz flavour, sold in 3-ounce canisters with an EAN of 898940001696
• Toxic Waste MEGA Slime Licker Sour Rolling Liquid Candy – Strawberry flavour, sold in 3-ounce canisters with an EAN of898940001696
• Toxic Waste Slime Licker Sour Rolling Liquid Candy – Black Cherry flavour, sold in 2-ounce canisters with an EAN of 850034597201
• Toxic Waste Slime Licker Sour Rolling Liquid Candy – Sour Apple flavour, sold in 2-ounce canisters with an EAN of 850034597201
• Toxic Waste Slime Licker Sour Rolling Liquid Candy – Strawberry flavour, sold in 2-ounce canisters (2-pack) with an EAN of 898940001917
• Toxic Waste Slime Licker Sour Rolling Liquid Candy – Sour Apple flavour, sold in 2-ounce canisters (2 pack) with an EAN of 898940001917

==> No item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, Candy Dynamics has recalled all current batch/lots of Toxic Waste Slime Licker Candies from the British marketplace due to suspected component detachment and consequential risks of choking, oral injury, internal ingestion, GI tract laceration damage, bowel obstruction/perforation and/or sepsis.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Toxic Waste Slime Licker Candies, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Confectionery to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-9-9, your closest hospital A&E or emergency centre equipped to properly treat choking, oral injury, internal ingestion, GI tract laceration damage, bowel obstruction/perforation and/or sepsis.
