US/Washington: The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”), a statutory regulatory and food safety authority, warns against the consumption of certain batch/lots of Kirkland Signature Applewood Smoked Master Carve Half Ham Boneless with Natural Juices from the American marketplace suspected due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential risks of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

UK/London: ALDI Stores Limited, an Atherstone, Warwickshire establishment, updates its existing recall for certain batch/lots of Ready To Cook! Teriyaki Beef Stir Fry Meals from the British marketplace to include additional product brand details as well as an update on the use-by date of the affected Meals.

The original recall was initiated due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Gluten and Wheat, both known allergens, sources of dietary intolerance and possible triggers of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
