Vehicle Recall: Ferrari Sports Coupes

Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety safety authority, recalls certain 2005 to 2022 Ferrari Sports Cars marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On certain vehicles, the Brake Reservoir Fluid Cap may not vent properly. If this defect occurs, the Braking System could leak Brake Fluid. As a result, there could be a partial or total loss of braking.

Reduced braking or a loss of brakes can increase the risk of a crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact event with consequential serious injury and/or life-changing results.

Proposed Remedy:
Ferrari will notify affected vehicle owners by mail and send owners a second notice once the repair parts are available. Ferrari advises that if the “Low Brake Fluid” warning message appears on the vehicle’s dashboard, operators should pull off the road as soon as it is safe to do so and then contact Ferrari Roadside Assistance to get towed to your nearest authorized dealer.
