Logo - Jayco, Inc. ("Jayco")Jayco, Inc. (“Jayco”), a Middlebury, Indiana establishment and subsidiary of Thor Industries of Elkhart, Indiana, has recalled an estimated 1,205 model year 2021-2022 Jayco Entegra Coach Accolade, Jayco Accolade XL, Jayco Seneca, and Jayco Seneca Prestige Motorhomes marketed, sold and delivered in the United States.

Recall Category: Visibility – Windshield Wipers may fail

NHTSA Safety Notification 23V477000 reports the Windshield Wipers may fail, resulting in reduced driver visibility. Specifically, on the affected vehicles, the Spline Teeth in the Windshield Wipers may wear. This may result in a loss of Wipers functioning properly and reduced visibility, increasing the risk of crash.

According to the NHTSA, reduced driver visibility increases the risk of a crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact event with consequential serious injury and/or life-changing results.
