US/Washington: Garland Ventures, a Garland, Texas establishment, recalls an estimated 13,842 pounds of Freshness Guaranteed branded Ready-To-Eat (“RTE”) Chicken Fried Rice Diced Chicken Meat with Vegetables and Rice in a Savory Soy Sauce Meals from the American marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential risks of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
