UK/London: Lidl Great Britain Limited (“Lidl GB”), a London, England establishment and subsidiary of Lidl of Stiftung & Co KG of Neckarsulm, Baden-Wüttenberg, Germany, expands its existing recall for all current batch/lots of Duc DeCoeur branded Salted Caramel & Chocolate Tartlets to include an additional UK jurisdiction, specifically Northern Ireland. Previously, this recall was limited to England, Scotland and Wales.
The original recall was initiated due to suspected incomplete and/or incorrect labeling and consequential improperly declared Soya (Soy), a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
