Jewel-Osco Signature Farms Garden Salad Recall Update

US/Silver Spring: Jewel-Osco, an Itasca, Illinois establishment and subsidiary of Boise, Idaho-based Albertsons, corrects its existing recall for certain batch/lots of Signature Farms branded Garden Salads from the American marketplace to provide an updated facility code designation provided by the company.

The original recall was initiated due to suspected Cyclospora cayetanensisa contamination and consequential risks of Cyclospora infection, severe illness, parasitic infiltration and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards.
