Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls an estimated 14,994 model year 2019, 2020 and 2021 Nissan Altima and model year 2020 and 2021 Nissan Sentra Sedans marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On certain Nissan sedans, the Rearview Camera Wiring Harness could be damaged by movement and/or vibrations. As a result, the Rearview Camera image may not display correctly or may not display at all. Canadian regulations require the Rearview image to display when reversing the vehicle.

On certain Nissan vehicles, the plastic emblem on the Steering Wheel Airbag Cover could detach and become a projectile when the Airbag inflates in a crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact event.

Please note: this recall is for certain vehicles that had its Steering Wheel Airbag replaced.
