US/Washington: JAKKS Pacific Inc., a Santa Monica, California establishment, recalls an estimated 17,500 Children’s Mario Kart Ride-On Racer Car Toys from the American marketplace due to suspected Accelerator Pedal failure and consequential risks of loss of vehicle control, crash, laceration, traumatic brain injury (“TBI” or “concussion”), bone fractures and/or central nervous system (“CNS”) injury, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
