Vehicle Recall: Alfa Romeo Tonale & Dodge Hornet SUVs

Canada FlagCanada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls an estimated 4,256 model year 2023 and 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale and Dodge Hornet Sport Utility Vehicles (“SUVs”) marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On certain Alfa Romeo and Dodge vehicles, the Compliance Label doesn’t list the vehicle’s Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (“GVWR”), the Tire size or the Rim size. This defect could lead to overloading of the vehicle. Additionally, when the Rims and Tires are replaced, the wrong Rims and/or Tires could be installed. Both issues could cause poor in-use handling or a tire failure.
