Product Recall: Maxell CR-1616 Micro Lithium Batteries

Australia/Canberra: Screenlink Pty Ltd., an Osborne Park, Western Australia establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Maxell CR-1616 Micro Lithium Batteries from the Australian marketplace due to the reported failure to comply with Australia’s mandatory standard for button/coin batteries and consequential risks of choking, laceration, burns, GI tract laceration damage, bowel obstruction and/or sepsis, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-changing injury.
