Vehicle Recall: Toyota RAV4 Hybrid & RAV4 Prime SUVs

Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety safety authority, recalls certain model year 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and RAV4 Prime Sport Utility Vehicles (“SUVs”) marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On the affected Toyota RAV4 SUVs, rapid acceleration can reportedly cause the Battery voltage to drop suddenly while driving in EV mode in cold temperatures, As a consequence, the Hybrid System could shut down and cause a sudden loss of power to the Drive Wheels.

Vehicle Recall: Volkswagen Jetta Sedans
