Among the fifty-one (51) recalls the NHTSA has announced in February comes news of the following:

Logo - Blue Bird Body Company ("Blue Bird")Blue Bird Body Company (“Blue Bird”), a Fort Valley, Georgia establishment, has recalled an estimated 6,691 model year 2020-2024 Blue Bird Body Vision and 2020-2023 Blue Bird Body All American School Buses marketed, sold and delivered in the United States.

Recall Category: Seats – Incorrectly installed Seats in apparent contravention of US FMVSS 210

NHTSA Safety Notification 24V078000 reports as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, “Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages.

According to the NHTSA, an unsecured Seat may not adequately restrain an occupant, increasing the risk of consequential serious injury and/or life-changing results in the event of a crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact event.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat lacerations, concussions, bone fractures, amputation, central nervous system (“CNS”) damage and/or internal injuries.

Authorized Blue Bird Body Dealers will inspect and repair the seat, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 05, 2024.
