Canada FlagCanada/Ottawa: Mead Johnson Nutrition (Canada) Co., a Kanata, Ontario establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Nutramigen Hypoallergenic Infant Formula Powder products from the Canadian marketplace due to possible Cronobacter sakazakii (formally known as Enterobacter sakazakii) contamination and consequential risks of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness including sepsis and meningitis and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

UK FlagUK/London: Refresco Drinks UK Ltd., a Kegworth, Derbyshire establishment, updates its existing recall for certain batch/lots of Asda and Calypso branded Fruit Drink Box products from the British marketplace to include an additional bulk package offering of the Drinks, indicated in bold in the listings below.

The original recall was initiated due to suspected metal contamination in the accompanying Drinking Straws and consequential risks of choking, oral injury, internal ingestion, GI tract laceration damage, bowel obstruction/perforation and/or sepsis, all serious health and safety hazards.
