Food Recall: ALDI Deli Salami & Continental Selection

UK/London: ALDI Stores Limited, an Atherstone, Warwickshire establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of The Deli Salami Selection and The Deli Continental Selection from the British marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Milk, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

Additional information:
The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Deli Meat products are subject to recall:

• The Deli Salami Selection, sold in 140 gram flat-packs with a use-by date of 25 September 2023
• The Deli Continental Selection, sold in 120 gram flat-packs with a use-by date of 25 September 2023

==> No barcodes, EANs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Deli Meat products can be found on the Web site above.

According to the FSA, ALDI Stores has recalled certain batch/lots of The Deli Salami Selection and The Deli Continental Selection from the British marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Milk. As a direct result of this suspected defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Deli Meat products identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled ALDI Deli Salami & Continental Selection products and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-9-9, your closest hospital A&E or emergency centre equipped to properly treat Anaphylaxis.
