US/Washington: H-E-B Grocery Company LP, a San Antonio, Texas establishment, recalls an estimated 1,400 Haven & Key Leather Woven Chairs from the American marketplace due to suspected structural failure and collapse with consequential risks of falls, laceration, traumatic brain injury (“TBI” or “concussion”), bone fractures and/or central nervous system (“CNS”) injury.

Vehicle Recall: Jaguar I-Pace EV SUVs

Estimated reading time: three (3) minutes

Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety safety authority, recalls certain 2020, 2021 and 2022 model year Jaguar I-Pace Electric Vehicle (“EV”) Sport Utility Vehicles (“SUVs”) marketed, sold and delivered in Canada due to suspected High-Voltage Coolant Heater failure.

If this defect occurs, less cabin heat could be available, and the Windshield Defrost System may not work properly leading to decreased driving visibility and increased risks of crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact event with consequential serious injury and/or life-changing results.

Please note: currently, this recall only affects vehicles without a Heated Windshield.

Product Recall: Kmart Anko Baby Activity Chairs

Australia/Canberra: Kmart Australia Ltd, a Mulgrave, Melbourne, Victoria establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Anko Baby Activity Chairs from the Australian marketplace due to failure to comply with Australia’s mandatory standard for Toys for Children up to and including 36 months of age and consequential risks of choking, suffocation or glass ingestion, GI tract laceration damage, bowel obstruction and/or sepsis, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
