US/Washington: Sofina Foods Inc., a Markham, Ontario establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Mastro branded Mortadella Italian Sausage Meat products from the American marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Pistachio Nuts, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious health and safety hazard requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

US/Bethesda & Canada/Ottawa: Tristar Products Inc. a Santa Rosa Beach, Florida enterprise until February 17, 2022, and Tristar Products Inc. on behalf of Empower Brands, LLC, a Middleton, Wisconsin establishment, after February 17, 2022 (in the United States), and Spectrum Brands Canada, Inc. a Mississauga, Ontario after February 17, 2022, recall an estimated total 479,900 PowerXL branded Self-Cleaning Juicers (approximately 469,000 in the US and approximately 10,900 in Canada) from the American and Canadian marketplaces due to batter mix expulsion and/or leakage during use or upon opening the appliance with consequential risks of burns, scalds, smoke inhalation, respiratory failure, cardiac system collapse and/or property damage, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
