The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Roll Up Blinds are subject to this recall:

  • Windowland Bamboo Roll Up Blinds, models: HOM-293, HOM-294, HOM-295, HOM-296, HOM-298, HOM-299, HOM-300, HOM-301, HOM-302, HOM-303, HOM-304 & HOM-305. The model type is positioned above the barcode on the packaging.

According to the ACCC, the recalled Window Blinds do not have complete warning labels and instructions as required by Australia’s Trade Practices (Consumer Product Safety Standard—Corded Internal Window Coverings) Regulations 2010. Failure to install the blinds in accordance with the instructions or installing them while unaware of the risk of strangulation by the cord poses a serious safety risk to children.
