US/Atlanta:
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”), an Atlanta, Georgia based health promotion and disease prevention authority, issues its final update on the outbreak of Listeria infections linked to certain Vietnamese Pork products after at least four (4) people were hospitalized due to Listeria poisoning after consuming certain Pork products from Long Phung Food Products, a Houston, Texas establishment.

Additional information:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) reports this Listeria outbreak appears to now be over with cases reported from Illnesses in four (4) states. No deaths are known to have been caused by this outbreak.
