Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports this recall involves the combination harnessed Child Restraint for children approximately 6 months to 4 years old and Booster Seat for children approximately 4 to 8 years old. The model number is “LM 215” and Standards Australia serial numbers from “SC682047” to “SC683000” and “SC683003” to “SC683008′ may be seen on the product.

According to the ACCC, the recalled Triton Child Restraint does not comply with the Australian Standard, AS/NZS 1754:2010 clause 4.3.7 (b) (i), which requires the child’s head is kept at least 10mm away from the vehicle door during side impacts. In the event of a side impact crash, the child’s head may not be adequately protected.
