US/Bethesda & Canada/Ottawa: Bestar Inc., Lac-Mégantic, Quebec establishment, recalls an estimated total 182,000 Bestar branded Wall Beds (approximately 129,000 in the US and approximately 53,000 in Canada) from the American and Canadian marketplaces due to suspected component detachment and consequential risks of falls, laceration, concussion, crush, bone fractures, Traumatic Brain Injury (“TBI”) hazard and/or central nervous system (“CNS”) injury, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
