US/Silver Spring: Velvet Ice Cream, a Utica, Ohio establishment, recalls all batch/lots of various all of Buehler’s, Discount Drug Mart, North Star, Ruggle’s, Super Dip and Velvet branded Ice Cream and Sherbet products made on or after March 24, 2021 from the American marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential risks of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards.
