The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Baby Foods are subject to this recall:

  • Baby Macro Organic Lamb and Sweet Potato Puree; batch codes: 13254 and 13256
  • Baby Macro Organic Beef with Vegetable and Rice Puree; batch code: 13255
  • Baby Macro Organic Chicken with Sweetcorn and Pasta Puree; batch codes: 13256

According to the ACCC, the Baby Foods are being recalled due to a possible packaging failure, causing a small split to occur in some products. If this packaging failure does occur, the Baby Foods have the potential to become contaminated and may result in illness if consumed. The Baby Foods were sold nationally in Woolworths Supermarkets, Safeway, Food for Less and Flemings Supermarkets stores.
