The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Baby Cots are subject to this recall:

  • Wooden Sleigh 3-in-1 Baby Cot with the following product codes: BABY-COT-BC26-WH-A, BABY-COT-BC26-WH-B, BABY-COT-BC26-WAL-A, BABY-COT-BC26-WAL-B, BABY-COT-BC26-NAT-A, BABY-COT-BC26-NAT-B, BABY-COT-BC26-TEA-A, BABY-COT-BC26-TEA-B

According to the ACCC, the Baby Cot does not comply with the mandatory Australian standard AS/NZS 2172:2003 Cots for household use – safety requirements. There were multiple failures related to labelling non-compliance and non-compliance with the drop side on the Cots. Due to the non-compliance with the mandatory standard, there is potential for finger or limb entrapment near the drop side.
