The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”), an Ottawa, Ontario-based statutory regulatory and food safety authority recalls certain batch/lots of Bitter Apricot Kernels sold at Yin Chun Super Herbs from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected natural toxin Amygdalin contamination and consequential risks of acute Cyanide poisoning with headache, dizziness, fast heart rate, shortness of breath, vomiting, seizures, slow heart rate, low blood pressure, loss of consciousness, cardiac arrest as well as long-term neurological problems, all serious health hazards.
