The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”), an Atlanta, Georgia based health promotion and disease prevention authority, issues its final update on the outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 infections linked to Romaine Lettuce due to Escherichia coli (E. coli) O157:H7 infections linked to Romaine.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) reports this E. coli O157:H7 outbreak appears to have begun in October with cases reported from October 8, 2018 to December 13, 2018. As of January 9, 2019, this outbreak appears to be over.
