US/Atlanta:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”), an Atlanta, Georgia health and wellness regulatory authority, has further updated its warning against serving or consuming certain batch/lots of Romaine Lettuce due to suspected Escherichia coli (“E.coli”) O157:H7 contamination and consequential risk of bacterial infection and illness, all serious health hazards. In addition, the Public Health Agency of Canada (“PHAC”) has issued warnings for Canadians consuming Romaine Lettuce related to this outbreak.
