Australia/Canberra: IKEA Pty Limited, a Tempe, New South Wales establishment and a subsidiary of Netherlands-based furnishings manufacturer, INGKA Holdings BV, recalls certain batch/lots of IKEA ODGER Swivel Chairs from the Australian marketplace due to suspected structural failure and component detachment hazards with consequential risks of falls, laceration, concussion, bone fractures and/or central nervous system (“CNS”) injury, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
