US/Silver Spring: Dole Fresh Vegetables, Inc., a Monterey, California establishment, recalls an estimated 180 varieties of prepared, washed and ready-to-eat Ahold, Dole, Kroger, Lidl, Little Salad Bar, Marketside, Naturally Better and Simply Nature branded Salads and Salad Kits from the American marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential risks of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-changing injury.
